Spring, Kura, Music: Spring Arpa Performance held on April 21st

On April 21st, “Spring, Kura, Music: Spring Arpa Performance” was held amidst beautiful spring weather and blossoming sakura at nearby Hirosaki Castle.

In a traditional tatami room with a hearth and other elements not often seen by the public, surrounded by the picturesque traditional garden in which several-hundred-year-old trees are standing, the tones of Kanako Ono’s magical arpa playing combined with this year’s freshly made sake to create an enchanting atmosphere that enabled guests to enjoy this truly extraordinary experience.

Local cuisine was provided by Kikufuji, and Keyaki provided cracker sticks created with sake kasu from our brewery to pair with this year’s painstakingly made batch of fresh sake.

Spring, kura, music, and food. We are pleased that we were able to offer attendees such a pleasurable spring afternoon.

This was the first event of its kind, and all the staff were very nervous, but we were thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity and to receive so many positive impressions about the scenery. We hope to offer more of such events and we will strive to be a more open and welcoming brewery. One can become more familiar with sake through appreciating music and by visiting the brewery itself, and by hosting such events, we wish to contribute to the creation of a more lively and vibrant local community.

To all attendees, and to our partners who helped make this event a success, we offer our heartfelt gratitude.

To those who could not attend this event, we hope you will attend another event in the future.
