The 10th Kura Master Sake Competition was held on April 27, 2026, at Pavillon Ledoyen, located in the Jardin des Champs-Élysées in Paris, France.
We are honored to announce that “Rokkon Tokubetsu Junmai” received the Platinum Award in the Junmai Sake Category (Rice Polishing Ratio: 51–65%), and “Rokkon Junmai Daiginjo Yamada Nishiki” received the Gold Award in the Junmai Daiginjo Category (Rice Polishing Ratio: 1–35%).
Established in France in 2017, Kura Master is a sake competition judged by leading French beverage professionals, including MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) sommeliers, sommeliers from five-star hotels and Michelin three-star restaurants, as well as restaurant owners. Approximately 125 judges participate in blind tastings to evaluate the entries.
We are deeply honored that our sake has been so highly appreciated by the people of France.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has continued to support and enjoy our sake. This achievement would not have been possible without your encouragement.
Moving forward, we will continue striving to craft sake that reflects the climate and culture of Aomori and leaves a lasting impression on those who enjoy it.
Thank you for your continued support.
